Where to Play

• Tahlequah Wellness Center - The new 75,000 square foot Cherokee Nation facility at 22685 S Betty Sharp Smith St has two basketball courts used for recreation programming, including pickleball. It is open from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Friday and 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM on weekends. Membership is free for Cherokee Nation citizens and available to the community for a monthly fee. Join the official pickleball group for open play, lessons, and events.
• Kaufman Park - The city park at Dogwood Drive and May Avenue has outdoor pickleball courts along with parking, benches, picnic tables, and a toddler playground. • Anthis-Brennan Family Sports Complex - The large city sports complex at 1046 W Allen Rd has outdoor pickleball courts, restrooms, parking, a playground, walking trails, ball fields, and the Tahlequatics Center. Visiting and Looking for a Game?

If you are coming alone, begin with the Tahlequah Wellness Center's official pickleball group and choose a posted open play session. That gives you a direct route into organized games instead of hoping other players happen to be at a park. Community memberships are available, and the center is open seven days a week.

If you are traveling with partners, Kaufman Park is the simpler outdoor choice close to central Tahlequah. Anthis-Brennan is useful when your group also wants a playground, walking trails, or other sports facilities.
